Terms of Use

Welcome to Tetrees EX (the "Marketplace"), operated by Tetrees ("Tetrees", "we", "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Tetrees. By creating an account, listing a product, purchasing a product, buying Tetrees Points, or otherwise using the Marketplace, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Marketplace.

1. Definitions

• Marketplace — the Tetrees EX website, services and APIs.
• Seller — a user who lists code products for sale.
• Buyer — a user who purchases a license to a product.
• Product — the code, templates, assets and accompanying materials listed by a Seller.
• Tetrees Points ("Points") — prepaid, stored-value credits used to pay for platform services (e.g. verification, testing, running code).
• Verification Report — an informational assessment of a Product at a point in time.
• Dispute — a claim raised through the in-app Dispute channel as described in §7.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (and at least 14) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. We may refuse, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk or legal exposure.

3. The Marketplace and Verification Reports

Tetrees EX is a marketplace for production-oriented code Products. Tetrees is a venue and payment facilitator; the contract of sale for a Product is between the Buyer and the Seller. Verification Reports and scores describe the state of a Product at the time of testing and are provided for information only. They are not a warranty, certification, or guarantee of fitness, security, legality or performance, and should not be your sole basis for a purchase decision.

4. The Tetrees License (default)

Unless a Product's page states otherwise, a purchase grants a Tetrees License: a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable, permanent license to use, modify, and integrate the Product into your own projects and commercial products. You may not (a) resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Product as a standalone or competing item; (b) remove or obscure the Seller's copyright or attribution notices; or (c) use the Product unlawfully. Where a Seller sets a license period, your license is valid only for that number of days from the date of purchase. License grants are conditioned on payment being completed and not reversed.

5. Purchases, payments, Points and fees

• Prices and processing. Product prices are set by Sellers and charged through Stripe. Applicable taxes are calculated and added at checkout.
• Platform fee. Tetrees retains a 20% platform fee on Product sales; the remainder is paid out to the Seller via Stripe Connect, subject to Stripe's requirements and any holds for risk or Disputes.
• Tetrees Points. Points are prepaid credits with no cash value. They are not a bank deposit, not legal tender, and are non-transferable. Points are consumed as you use paid platform services. A promotional bonus may be added to a purchase at our discretion. Points do not expire unless stated at purchase or required by law.
• Seller taxes. Sellers are solely responsible for reporting and paying their own income and other taxes on payouts.

6. No refunds (all sales final)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all sales on the Marketplace are final and non-refundable. This includes:

• Products. Because Products are digital goods delivered immediately and can be downloaded, copied and deployed, purchases are non-refundable once the license is granted or the download/deploy has been made available.
• Tetrees Points. Points are prepaid and non-refundable, cannot be exchanged back for money, and are non-transferable.

We do not offer refunds for buyer's remorse, lack of skill or environment to use a Product, incompatibility you could have assessed before buying, or a change of mind. If you believe a Product materially misrepresents itself, is defective, or was not delivered, do not request a chargeback — open a Dispute (see §7). Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.

7. Disputes and mediation

We provide an in-app Dispute channel so Buyers and Sellers can resolve issues fairly.

1. Open a Dispute. A Buyer may open a Dispute from their Library (Purchases), normally within 14 days of purchase, describing the issue and desired outcome.
2. Direct resolution. The Seller should respond promptly (normally within 5 business days). Many issues (missing files, setup questions, minor defects) are resolved directly at this stage.
3. Tetrees mediation. If the parties cannot settle, the Tetrees team will mediate. We may review the Product, the Verification Report, communications and delivery evidence, and request information from both parties.
4. Outcomes. Where we find it warranted, Tetrees may, at its sole discretion, apply a platform remedy — such as issuing Tetrees Points as goodwill credit, arranging a fix or replacement with the Seller, adjusting a Seller's payout, or revoking a license. Monetary refunds are not guaranteed and are the exception, not the norm. Tetrees' mediation decision is final for platform-level remedies. Acting as mediator does not make Tetrees a party to the sale.
5. Chargebacks. Initiating a bank or card chargeback instead of using the Dispute channel is a breach of these Terms. A charged-back or reversed purchase immediately revokes the associated license, and we may suspend the account and offset the amount against balances.

8. Seller obligations and payouts

Sellers warrant that they own or have all rights to sell what they list; that the Product does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy or other rights; that it contains no malware, backdoors, or hidden data collection; and that listing information (including any Verification Report inputs) is accurate. Sellers must honor the license terms they set and provide any stated support period. Payouts are made through Stripe Connect and may be delayed or withheld for fraud review, Disputes, chargebacks, or violations. Tetrees may remove listings, withhold or reverse payouts, or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: violate any law or third-party right; upload malicious code or infringing material; scrape, overload, or attempt to breach the Marketplace or its security; circumvent fees or the Dispute channel; create fake reviews, listings, or accounts; harass other users; or use the Marketplace to launder value or evade sanctions.

10. Community content

Discussions, product requests, comments and other user content must be lawful and respectful. Only safe links are permitted; do not post secrets, malware, or others' personal data. You retain ownership of what you post but grant Tetrees a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it to operate the Marketplace. Reported content is reviewed and may be removed, and repeat offenders may be suspended.

11. Running code (sandbox)

Server-side code execution ("Run this code") runs in isolated, ephemeral sandboxes and consumes Points, including for the time an instance is held. You may only run code you are entitled to run. You must not use the sandbox for abuse, cryptomining, denial-of-service, scanning, attacking third parties, or hosting persistent services.

12. Intellectual property and takedowns

The Marketplace, its design, logos and software are owned by Tetrees or its licensors. If you believe content on the Marketplace infringes your rights, contact us at business@insightvessel.io with sufficient detail to identify the material and your rights; we will review and may remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.

13. Disclaimers

The Marketplace and all Products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the service or any Product will be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free. Verification Reports are informational only (see §3).

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tetrees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Marketplace will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Tetrees in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.

15. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Tetrees from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your Products, your use of the Marketplace, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

16. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Marketplace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, and withhold payouts if you breach these Terms or create legal or security risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. §4 restrictions, §6, §8, §13–§15) survive termination.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

18. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; we will post the new date above and notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. Questions: business@insightvessel.io.
